Llamas for Adoption

All of our llamas listed below have come from re-homing situations due to changes in the owners lives, or direct law enforcement interventions.

Some of the youngest were born on our farm as a result of dams being pregnant at time of arrival. The individual descriptions of their histories to the extent known, their temperament and potential uses are straight forward and honest. Many of our adoptable llamas would BEST go as pairs at minimum based on their current bonding relationships with other llamas. People have suggested that perhaps we are a bit too honest in our descriptions, but our world and our future relationship with potential adopting families is based on honesty and trust.

Our SALES STANDARD applies to all adopted llamas, EXCEPT where the specifics contained within the individual animal descriptions contains disclaimers regarding their �handle-ability�. Behavior and temperament are occasionally [BUT NOT ALWAYS] the issues surrounding some of the rescues living on our farm and we have some that will most likely never be available for adoption due to the challenges they have faced in their lives.

THOUGH WE HAVE DISCONTINUED TAKING IN LLAMAS THAT NEED NEW HOMES, THOSE ANIMALS HERE OR BORN HERE LISTED BELOW ARE AVAILABLE FOR APPROPRIATE HOMES.

We do not generally give away the llamas that are owned by us and have come here as a result of rehoming needs. Some of our rescue llamas are VERY bonded with some of our llamas for sale or each other and prices and availability will reflect those invidiual animal needs.

	GABRIELLE DOB 03-21-2004. Gabrielle is daughter of LECHE part of a major animal cruelty and neglect case in Lewis County Washington. Gabrielle was born on the farm and like most llamas handled with respect and care has never learned the fears her mother has. NOT REGISTERED
	LECHE VERY fearful of people even after most of 2 years with us, but changes slowly every day. For the llama savvy household only. Halters and leads well EXCELLENT SENTRY instincts. Estimated age 6 years. Part of a horrible Animal Neglect Case NOT REGISTERED
	NV PIXIE ��DOB 03/30/1998 �Adelantes Starbuck x MW Lynette She is halter trained, lead trained, has a history of living with goats as a sentry, but in no way should she go to the un-experienced llama owner, nor should she go into a single llama sentry situation. ILR REGISTRATION # 200080
	DAHLI I would guess Dahli is somewhere around 15 years old. She is by far THE MOST Guard oriented llama in our herd. We have witnessed her actively attacking anything she considers a threat and is the first to see a potential challenge. She halters well, leads VERY WELL, and loves long hard walks. �. She does have some issues particularly with hind feet as the direct result of her being quilled by a porcupine and the quills just being yanked with pliers after she was hog tied by her prior owner. Her body style and musculature suggests she comes from a long line of 'bred for packing' llamas in the Idaho area. Supposedly Registered No Registration paperwork available
	JOSEPH Approx 15-18 yrs. Past history of 4H llama. Truly BEYOND AMAZING temperament, attitude. Can be haltered most anytime, anywhere. Tether savvy. GELDING REQUIRED PRIOR TO PLACEMENT. Price includes gelding fee. Joseph and Jacob spend much of their waking days excersing each other. Even at his age, he holds his own, and then some. � Supposedly Registered No Registration paperwork available
	BUTTONS Approximate age 20+. Buttons is the quiet senior in charge guy in the herd. ALWAYS gentle with youngsters who join the herd, he tolerates no ill manners. He has taught all the male babies the rules of being a llama in a male herd. Kind and giving Buttons has been on many public outings with us and is just fun to be around. He had a very tough life before coming to us, but has become a very special part of our lives. �Gelded. Buttons came to us in 2003 at between 8 and 10 years old, and has earned his quiet years. � NOT REGISTERED
