ROYCE'S LADAE HAWKE
|
|
BRIEF NAMING HISTORY
Ladyhawke [the movie] has been a long standing favorite for both Chloe and I. In the movie Michelle Pfeiffer plays the role of Lady Isabeau who is condemned by witchery along with her lover Captain Navarre to never see each other in the flesh as humans. Lady Isabeau is doomed to spend the daylight hours as a hawk [Ladae Hawke] and returns to human form as Isabeau at sunset. With that in mind what better formal name for a tall magical llama than Ladae Hawke with a farm name of Isabeau.

As a babie Isabeau was full of herself AND the world. And she walked around ANNOUNCING to herself that everything was entertaining. She would just walk around grunting, not at anything in particular, just to hear herself talk! She is everything GREAT about her DAM and SIRE when it comes to temperament. Anywhere in the pasture you want to be with her is JUST FINE WITH HER. But she is respectful to a fault.
She has her daddy's bone and fiber and just enjoy's being people.

The first to greet the guests and visitors it is almost a battle over who exactly will be the first of our three oldest babies to be entertained by the visitors. While this photo doesn't quite do anyone justice, all three of them just stood there for most of 20 minutes waiting for ME TO STOP!!
